Yesterday evening, we were at a special charity event in Switzerland to drum up donations for a good cause. Bundling their efforts, Kiwanis International and UNICEF work together on a project known as “ELIMINATE”, which combats tetanus amongst infants and mothers. Every year, some 60,000 newborns and a significant number of their mothers die as a result of tetanus infections. With proper and timely vaccinations, we could save many, many lives …

Over 400 guests donated their time, money and energy at this event, joining us for a drum session of far-reaching significance. Altogether, we helped to raise more than 1.5 million Swiss francs, with a further 35,000 Swiss francs having been collected through ticket sales for the gala. These funds will save thousands of lives! Drum Conversation are incredibly proud to have been part of this event.
